Ever since his NXT debut as one-half of MSK, Wes Lee’s star has been on a meteoric rise. Within a few weeks after debuting on NXT television, Wes Lee and his tag team partner Nash Carter won the NXT Tag Team Titles. He will be out of action for a long time due to injury and now he sent a powerful message afterwards.
Wes Lee soon found himself swimming in deep waters, but he somehow managed to pull himself up. In fact, not only did he solidify himself as a singles star, Wes Lee became the NXT North American Champion.
In surprising turn of events on the latest episode of WWE NXT, Wes Lee announced that he had suffered an injury and would require surgery, which will put him on the shelf for 8-12 months. Wes Lee’s partner responded to this announcement and encouraged him. Lee then replied to his partner, sending a powerful message.
”You have been the greatest source of strength that I could’ve ever asked for. Thank you for constantly uplifting me mi Reina. I love you so damn much and can’t say enough how much you mean to me. MEA FLR”
We send our best to Wes Lee and pray he will make it back to the squared circle earlier than expected, as fans would love to see him do what he does best – put on instant classic matches in NXT.
