Drew McIntyre’s time in WWE is interesting right now. He is a top name on the roster, but his contract situation is huge matter of question. As he wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Title, that puts his booking in a very interesting spot, and frustrations may arise.

Earlier this year, Drew McIntyre faced frustrations with WWE regarding creative matters and his contract, which is set to end in 2024. His discontent resurfaced after an incident during the Men’s WarGames Match on Saturday night, where his team, The Judgment Day lost to Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton.

Following the match, Drew McIntyre swiftly exited the ring, clutching his eye, just moments before CM Punk’s entrance music played. He slammed the locker room door and departed the arena in an evident display of anger. This reaction was genuine and unrelated to any storyline.

During the November 27th episode of Monday’s Raw episode, Drew McIntyre confronted Seth Rollins, expressing his desire for a World Heavyweight Title opportunity. Rollins, however, awarded the title shot to Jey Uso, prompting McIntyre to headbutt Rollins.

PW Insider reported that Drew McIntyre was in good spirits before the taping, suggesting that any lingering frustrations from Survivor Series had dissipated. That being said, there may have been legitimate anger after how he stormed off following WarGames.

“Whatever happened at Survivor Series seemed to have dissipated, and McIntyre was in good spirits prior to the taping.”

Drew McIntyre sustained a “hard way” cut during his segment with Seth Rollins, an accidental injury as he appeared to catch the belt with his face. Despite the incident, he carried on as everything was scripted, and he even cut a bloody backstage promo following the attack.

Drew McIntyre engaged in a backstage segment with Sami Zayn, leading to a match scheduled for the upcoming December 4th RAW episode. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins vs. Jey Uso for the championship was also announced for the same broadcast.
