Ronda Rousey made her surprise ROH debut, and that got lot of people talking. There is no deal in place between Rousey and Tony Khan, but that didn’t stop her from having a lot of fun in the process.

A backstage conversation between Ronda Rousey and AEW’s Marina Shafir at ROH has shed light on their friendship. Ronda Rousey had her debut in ROH during the November 17 tapings, and the episode has since been streamed on ROH on HonorClub.

As previously mentioned, Rousey’s debut featured her teaming up with Marina Shafir against Athena and Billie Starkz. The Ring of Honor X account posted a backstage moment between the two, showcasing their candid exchange.

“Marina, as your best friend, I want you to have so much fun doing this and I came here to personally make sure that you have a really good time. And, you just keep having a good time without me here, even though it’s not going to be as much of a good time because I’m your f*cking best friend. And, I totally swore, sorry guys. It’s okay, you just get used to having not as good of a time as you normally would when I’m around but still have a good time, because I want that for you.

Marina Shafir then replied to say, “Yeah, I know. It’s a dark cloud that I’m going to have to carry over my head for a little while now.”

Ronda Rousey didn’t waste any time as she responded, “Dude, you escaped communism, man. You’re in America.” This is when Marina Shafir responded to her friend with: “I did. I escaped communism! Put the shield down and have some fun.”

We will have to see if Ronda Rousey makes any further ROH appearances, or if Tony Khan is able to snag her for any AEW matches. Rousey can do as she pleases at this point in her career, and it appears that she is having a lot of fun with the situation.
