Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have earned a reputation as one of the most accomplished tag teams of the past decade in professional wrestling. FTR was part of a huge match at AEW Full Gear and the match took its toll on everyone involved. FTR lost the match but came out looking like winners. Harwood also decided to show off his battle-scarred face after AEW Full Gear.

Last month, FTR defended their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Ricky Starks and Big Bill on AEW Collision. Shockingly enough, they ended up losing the titles in just under five minutes.

This all came to head at AEW Full Gear, as Starks and Bill defended the titles against FTR, House of Black, and La Faccion Ingobernable in an insane 4-way ladder match. It was a brutal match from start to finish and things got bloody really quick. In the end, Bill and Starks retained their titles after outlasting FTR while fighting on top of the ladders.

Dax Harwood took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself, showing the aftermath of the match – his face bruised, swollen and bloody. Harwood made it clear he did it all for the love of pro wrestling.

Split open forehead. Swollen eye. I wonder what these business people in first class are thinking.

Who cares?! We put our bodies through all of that to call ourselves the best. For the love of the game.”

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for FTR, as they were unsuccessful in their endeavor to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships. After all, fans want FTR to eventually become champions again.
