Ricky Starks & Big Bill Win AEW Tag Team Titles On October 7th Collision

AEW wanted to do everything they could to bring attention to Collision, and they started the show this week an hour early as well. They also kicked things off with a big surprise.

Ricky Starks and Big Bill challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Titles in Salt Lake City for Collision. This was quite a match to start the show, and in the end, new champions were crowned.

This is a bit of a surprise, because FTR were booked as strong champions. Then they suddenly had this match booked and they lost the titles. Only time will tell if there is more to this story, but we will have more coverage as information is made known.

This is interesting timing, because Dax Harwood just filed a new CM Punk related trademark. We’re not sure if that has anything to do with this, but fans certainly didn’t see this title change coming.
