WWE Achieves Impressive New Record With 11/10 SmackDown In Columbus Ohio

WWE brought their show to Columbus, Ohio this week for SmackDown. The November 10th, 2023 episode also broke a record for the company in the process. This adds to the growing trend of shattering revenue numbers on an almost-weekly basis at this point.

This week’s episode of SmackDown was quite a show, and they included many reasons to bring fans out for the show. The company also topped a new record for the Columbus market.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, aside from premium live events, this week’s SmackDown was the highest-grossing night for WWE the city.

SmackDown was the highest grossing non-PLE in the history of the Columbus market for WWE, per internal live reports.

WWE has hosted a lot of televised events in Columbus in the past. This week’s SmackDown topping those numbers is further proof that WWE’s booming period is only going to continue from this point on.

WWE brought the fallout after Crown Jewel this week to Columbus, Ohio, and fans certainly got a good show on Friday night. Only time will tell when WWE comes back for a big event, but Columbus is a city that deserves any top event that WWE can book there.
