Kane Believes CM Punk’s WWE Return Would Be a Business Decision

WWE Hall of Famer Kane is certainly one of the most respected and loved Superstars in the company. Kane has competed in numerous matches in his career and has been part of several memorable moments. He is also familiar with working with CM Punk and amid rumors of his WWE return, and now Kane commented on Punk’s return rumors as well.

For the past couple of months, WWE has made several references to CM Punk in their programming. USA Network dropping blatant references further added to the speculation as well, which they have done a couple of times already.

Fans continue to speculate that CM Punk will return to WWE no matter what. While speaking to Bill Apter at the Icons of Wrestling Convention, Kane was asked about CM Punk’s WWE return rumors. Kane stated that it would be a business decision and hopes WWE will do what’s best for everybody, especially if it means bringing back Punk.

“That [Punk joining WWE] I don’t know! That’s a business decision. I always wish everybody the best. Again, in the end it’s gonna be what everyone thinks is best for business. I really don’t know that much about the controversy, actually. I haven’t been following it that closely. I always want the best for everybody and hope that happens.”

WWE Creative has not been told anything regarding potential return for CM Punk.  CM Punk has privately told people that he is not in talks with WWE. It remains to be seen what will become of Punk in the end.
