CM Punk, a controversial figure in the pro wrestling world, has only seen his reputation drop over the past several months. After getting fired from AEW, fans have been wondering if he will return to WWE. Now it appears yet another CM Punk WWE reference was dropped during CFFC 127.

During Cage Fighting Fury Championship 127, CM Punk’s co-hosts decided to have fun with all the speculation regarding CM Punk as they dropped not only a WWE reference but one about TNA as well.

One co-host had a WWE logo in his pocket and went on to say, “The guy needs a job and you’re sitting here busting his chops,” while talking about CM Punk. It is not known if this had any relevance to WWE as fans continue to speculate.

That’s not all as a co-host mentioned “Total Non-Stop Action” and gave a somewhat exaggerated delivery of the world ‘Impact’ for good measure. It is to be noted that TNA is more than open to having CM Punk after his behavior backstage at a recent taping.

While WWE initially declined CM Punk’s return after initial talks, the former AEW star continues to drop hints about a potential comeback. Only time will tell whether Punk will end up returning to WWE somewhere down the line, or if TNA will end up becoming his new home.
