WWE executives have a lot of clout in the pro wrestling business, and many of them have expertise from all avenues of industry. Now, WWE COO Brad Blum has landed another big role.

The Ad Council sent out a press release to announce that WWE’s Chief Operating Officer, Brad Blum, has been announced as one of the 18 new members to join the Ad Council Board of Directors. This is a big move for the prominent WWE executive.

The Ad Council, recognized for its utilization of communication to promote action and drive change on critical national issues, recently elected these new members. Diego Scotti, Verizon’s Chief Marketing Officer, will lead the Board of Directors as its Chairman, with the promotion of Rita Ferro, Disney’s President of Global Advertising, and Kirk McDonald, GroupM’s CEO of North America, to the positions of Vice Chairs.

For more than 80 years, the Ad Council has played a crucial role in advancing social impact initiatives within the communications industry. The Board of Directors includes esteemed professionals from marketing, media, and business sectors who offer their expertise, insights, and financial support to ensure the effectiveness of the Ad Council’s social impact campaigns.

We will have to see if WWE plays any role in this situation with a collaboration down the line. WWE is known to get involved with organizations that do their part to help out communities. For more on this story, stay tuned with us at Ringside News.
