Wrestling fans, prepare for a heartfelt journey as WWE Hall of Famer Brian Knobbs, one half of the legendary Nasty Boys tag team, opens up about his life-threatening health struggles and his road to recovery in an interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge.

Knobbs has battled through numerous health issues over the years, and there were moments when it seemed like he was wrestling with life itself. In this candid conversation, the former WWF Tag Team Champion revealed that he had come dangerously close to the brink of death not once, but twice.

He recounted, “Well, it was a series of things that just caught up with me but it was all, you know, from 35 years of wrestling, not only broken bones and that, but just the way my lifestyle was. You know, it all caught up to me and you know, it had to stop. I mean, I wouldn’t be here no more. I came close to passing a couple of times.”

But Knobbs’ fighting spirit shines through as he shared an interaction with his doctor that encapsulates his resilience. He said, “I told the doc, I just said, ‘Well, I just, a couple of beers just recently’ and he goes, ‘You know, I saved your life four times already,’ and I said, ‘Yeah, Doc, well, you might have to make it five or six. I’m a pro wrestler and you know how that goes.'”
