Carlito returned to WWE television during Fastlane last week, which was his first appearance since Backlash back in May. Good Fastlane return was met with a lot of positive reactions and now unseen behind-the-scenes footage of his return has surfaced.
WWE Fastlane 2023 took place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and had the fans entertained throughout the night. This included Carlito making his surprise return as LWO’s mystery partner. Carlito helped get the win for his team with a brutal Backstabber for good measure.
Video footage of Carlito reacting to his return backstage at Fastlane has now surfaced, which showed just how happy he was to be back to WWE after so long.
“It felt good… it felt real good. Every time you think they might have forgotten you… but it’s a loyal fanbase and there was a lot of love out there.”
Carlito signed a contract with WWE over the Summer, but the company dropped the original plans for Carlito months ago. Ringside News exclusively reported that his return has sparked high hopes and big plans from WWE. It remains to be seen how Carlito will be booked in the coming weeks, now that he is back for good.
