Absent WWE Star’s Status During Prolonged Hiatus Revealed

Tamina has been notably absent from in-ring competition for very long time now and this has made fans wonder if she’s even with the company now. In that regard, we now have an update on her status with WWE.

WWE has a large roster across NXT, Raw, and SmackDown, with some talent not appearing on television due to various reasons, such as creative decisions or injuries. After this year’s WWE Draft, fans noticed that Tamina was not assigned to any brand.

Tamina’s last in-ring appearance was on the February 27, 2023, episode of Main Event, where she lost to Michin. The week prior, she teamed with Dana Brooke and lost a tag team match on Main Event. Her last Premium Live Event appearance was at the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Since then, she hasn’t wrestled or been seen at WWE shows.

Despite her absence from television and backstage at WWE events, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Tamina is still under contract with WWE. It’s unclear what the future holds for her, but she’s at least with the company for the time being.
