Bray Wyatt was taken from us far too soon, and there were so many stories left to tell. He was on the road to WrestleMania 39 when he was taken off television. Sadly, he never returned before his untimely passing. A new story is making the rounds about cancelled plans, and we have some clarity now.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that reported Bray Wyatt vs Uncle Howdy match was “Rob Fee’s pitch, but no one ever really thought we’d get there.” Rob Fee was brought in to help with Bray Wyatt’s return story, and he was one of the many WWE names who got Bray Wyatt tribute tattoo after his passing. There were also apparently more people who wanted to get involved, because Karrion Kross also got a Wyatt tattoo.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Karrion Kross recently revealed that there were plans for him to work with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. Those plans would have also included Scarlett and Alexa Bliss.

“So we fast-forward. I haven’t talked to like anybody but my wife about this. So fast-forward, we were supposed to work last WrestleMania. Nobody knew that except for a collection of writers and some people in the office. [Van Vliet clarifies, was this WrestleMania 39?] Yeah. We were slated to do something. And we would talk for hours about how we wanted to get into it, what we wanted to deliver creatively for people where we thought we both needed to be.

“We had ideas with like Alexa and Bo and Scarlett. You know, and then everything happened the way it did. But he left a mark on anybody and everybody that he ever met. And it’s just very strange the way everything kind of just played out, like, beautiful and tragic. And he was always an inspiration to me and always showed me warmth. He showed everybody warmth, you know what I mean? But I just have so many, I have more stories than we have time to share. But we were cool, and I’ll never forget him.”

Ringside News was given a bit more information on the story about WWE having plans for Bray Wyatt and Karrion Kross. We were told that there were several pitches for what to do with them on WrestleMania, but it was not necessarily a match.

We previously reported that Dutch was interviewed recently, where he was asked about plans for him and Vincent to be a part of the Wyatt6 faction. It was said that the stable was a “real possibility.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that we are told by a tenured member of the creative team that plans for the Wyatt6 faction were “not really that far along.” We were also told that, “no one knew if or when he’d ever be able to return.”

Sadly, Bray Wyatt didn’t return to WWE, because he passed away after suffering a heart attack. That loss was a tremendous one that will be felt in the pro wrestling community for years to come.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
