AEW has a few signature matches and concepts, and they are bringing another one back next week. MJF is the AEW World Champion, but he is also the proud owner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring. That could change if things don’t go his way with this booking.

MJF has carried around the Dynamite Diamond Ring for a long time now, after winning it twice. He has made it part of his character, and it helped him win a lot of matches. That being said, he must fight to keep it once again.
The Salt of the Earth will have to defend his Dynamite Diamond Ring against the winner of next week’s Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal match. They announced this week on Dynamite Title Tuesday that the match is going down next week on Dynamite.
They did not announce who will be in that match. They also didn’t reveal any more contests that fans can look forward to next week. This week, on 10/10, was Tony Khan’s birthday, so he took it a little light when it comes to booking the show for next week.
They said on commentary that more matches for Collision and Dynamite will be revealed during Rampage this week. Rampage already has stacked lineup in store for fans this Friday.
We will have to see if MJF can carry the Dynamite Diamond Ring around for another year. As AEW World Champion, he may not need the extra hardware, but we’re sure that he will want to keep that ring.
