Cody Rhodes kicks oof WWE NXT with an electrifying start, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement. He reveals the revival of the Dusty Rhodes Classic tag team tournament and declares himself as the special guest general manager for this evening’s event.

NXT Men’s Champion Ilja Dragunov enters the ring, ready to address the audience. However, before he can speak, the crowd erupts into chants of “Happy Birthday” for him. Ilja humbly apologizes for the interruption but expresses his warm welcome to Cody, acknowledging that Cody’s announcements bring hope, excitement, and vitality to NXT. Ilja admires Cody’s passion, energy, and dedication to the WWE Universe, pledging to follow suit and elevate NXT to new heights with the fiery spirit of the Mad Dragon.

Suddenly, Dominik Mysterio, accompanied by Rhea Ripley, interrupts the proceedings. Dominik questions whether they are here merely to praise each other. He asserts that they are here to witness the best superstar NXT has to offer, which he claims to be himself, the one and only AA champion. Dom challenges Ilja, suggesting that he should inquire about Cody’s energy levels after THE Judgment Day left him incapacitated.

Ilja retorts, unimpressed by Dom’s interruption, and mentions that he knows how to handle noisy distractions, just like his father did working in a prison. Dom asks if he hurt Ilja, and Rhea whispers something into Ilja’s ear. Dom proposes that Ilja put his NXT Championship on the line tonight against him to prove his worth.

Cody interjects, questioning whether Dom is willing to risk his title as well. Rhea defends Dom’s accomplishments, highlighting his recent North American title win. Ilja, still in the spirit of celebration, relishes the idea of facing someone like Dom in the ring. He tells Rhea he intends to dominate her “boy.”

As the guest General Manager, Cody officially announces the NXT Championship match. However, given the numbers associated with Judgment Day, Cody suggests a guest referee will be needed. Cody reveals that he won’t be the referee but rather the hottest star in WWE, LA Knight.

Meanwhile, John Cena arrives at the venue, parking in the infamous Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment. In the viewing room, Kelly Kincaid showcases the audience numbers for the Asuka/Perez match.

Roxanne Perez vs. Asuka

Before the match officially kicks off, Shotzi arrives at the ring in her signature tank and takes her place alongside Booker and Vic on commentary.

As the bell rings, Asuka and Perez engage in a lock-up, with Asuka quickly transitioning into a wrist lock. Perez, showing her technical prowess, counters with a hammerlock. Asuka responds with a fireman’s carry takedown, followed by an armbar submission attempt. Perez manages to wriggle free and locks in a head scissors, but Asuka skillfully escapes.

Asuka ascends the turnbuckles and nails a missile dropkick on Perez, earning a close near fall. Asuka follows up with Kawada-style kicks and a running hip attack in the corner. She proceeds to choke Perez in the corner, exerting her dominance. Asuka then targets Perez’s arm with a focused armbar submission.

Perez fights back with a forearm strike, but Asuka continues to apply pressure with the wrist lock. Asuka delivers a series of kicks to Perez’s head, and Perez defiantly challenges her to do more. Perez counters with a flurry of forearms and windmill punches before landing a dropkick.

Perez gains momentum with a side Russian leg sweep, followed by an impressive suicide dive that sends Asuka back into the ring. Perez charges into the corner with a running uppercut, but Asuka counters with a well-timed back elbow. Perez retaliates with kicks and a series of forearms in the turnbuckles. She goes for a crossbody but only secures a near fall.

Asuka counters with a kick to the midsection and attempts to lock in the Asuka Lock, but Perez rolls her up for a close near fall. Perez goes for another rollup for another near fall. Asuka, determined to secure the victory, locks in the Asuka Lock once more. Perez manages to float over for another near fall, displaying her resilience.

However, Asuka regains control with a back heel kick, followed by a back fist and a spinning back heel kick. Asuka finishes off Perez with a powerful round kick, securing the three-count and the victory.

After the match, Kiana James enters the ring and directs some words towards Perez. However, Shotzi quickly enters the ring and takes matters into her own hands by executing a fisherman’s DDT on Kiana James.

Earlier in the day, footage shows Paul Heyman’s arrival at the building, where he voices his complaints about which entrance he has to use to gain access to the venue.

In the locker room, the Gallus faction is gathered, and Joe is brimming with determination, ready to inflict pain on their opponents. He emphasizes the importance of showing everyone who they truly are.

Butch chimes in, expressing his need for the partner he’s battled alongside all over Europe and the Big Strong Boy he’s faced in Chicago. Ridge arrives and adds to the sentiment, declaring that it’s Fight Night, and they’re fully prepared for whatever challenges lie ahead.

Butch, Tyler Bate, and Ridge Holland vs. Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang in a Pub Rules Match

In an intense showdown, Gallus launches a coordinated attack on the British Strong Brutes and Tyler Bate. Butch manages to turn the tide momentarily as he executes a plancha, diving onto everyone. Bate follows up with a forearm strike to Wolfgang on the outside. Adding an unconventional twist to the battle, Bate grabs a pool cue and makes a precise shot to sink an eyeball into the corner pocket.

Butch takes the fight up a notch by stabbing Joe in the hand with a dart. He then delivers a knee strike off the apron to Joe, while Mark struggles to get an extinguisher to work. Ridge steps in and smacks Mark with a trash can lid before spraying him and then placing him inside a trash can. Bate gets creative with a bowling ball, using it as a weapon in the chaotic melee.

Joe retaliates by knocking Butch off the apron and delivering a Glasgow Sendoff that sends Bate crashing into the ring steps. Wolfgang and Mark double-team Bate, slamming his throat into the edge of the apron. Joe proceeds to spray Bate with a fire extinguisher, creating disarray. Mark lands a forearm strike, while Wolfgang rakes Bate’s eyes and focuses on his neck. Joe joins in with Irish whips, followed by a punishing backbreaker. The battle rages on as the intensity continues to escalate.

The action remains fierce as Joe manages to secure a near fall on Tyler Bate. Mark sets up a keg in the ring, and Wolfgang hot shots Bate onto the keg, nearly scoring a pinfall. Both teams regroup on opposite sides of the ring and charge at each other, leading to a chaotic confrontation reminiscent of a scene from “Gangs of New York.” Butch takes the battle outside the ring, executing a moonsault off the turnbuckles onto Joe on the floor. Tyler and Ridge perform airplane spins on Mark and Wolfgang.

Tyler follows up with a clothesline to Wolfgang, and they unleash a tandem assault on Gallus with a series of jabs. Bate hits Wolfgang with a clothesline, setting up for stereo forearms from Tyler and Ridge. Gallus is sent reeling back into the ring, where they become victims of an onslaught. However, Tegan suggests that Lyra’s title match may have to wait since she came so close to securing the championship last night.

Dom counters a 619 attempt with a catapult, connects with a superkick and a DDT, but Ilja gets caught in the ropes. Ilja responds with a knee strike and a powerbomb, setting up the H-Bomb. However, interference from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh disrupts the match. LA Knight hits JD with the BFT, and Trick Williams pulls Rhea Ripley off the apron.

Ilja manages to hit the Torpedo Moscow on Dom for the victory, retaining his championship.

Bron then applies an arm bar and turns it into a bow and arrow submission hold.

Suddenly, a gong sounds, and the arena plunges into darkness, signaling the arrival of The Undertaker on his motorcycle.

The Undertaker, with his legendary presence, confronts Bron Breakker and stands face-to-face with the young talent. Bron confidently asserts that there is only one bad-ass in the ring, and he questions whether The Undertaker understands.

In response, The Undertaker, with his wisdom and experience, tells Bron that he has been keeping an eye on him for a long time. He acknowledges Bron’s potential but delivers a harsh reality check, stating that today is not the day for Bron to claim the title of “bad-ass.”

Without warning, The Undertaker strikes Bron with a powerful punch and follows it up with a devastating chokeslam, sending a clear message to the rising star.

As Bron lies on the mat, The Undertaker stands tall over him and imparts some advice. He emphasizes that there will always be older, bigger, and badder individuals lurking around the corner. The Undertaker leaves Bron with the knowledge that he has just encountered the baddest of them all.
