WWE offers great opportunities to their Superstars, but sometimes it isn’t the best fit. Now, two NXT Superstars are off on their own as their contracts have expired.

The Schism went through a big change as Joey Gacy seemed to indicate that he is now on his own. Although Ava is still there, the Schism stable seems to be over now. Only time will tell what is next for Joe Gacy, but his former stablemates are officially gone from the company.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid are no longer with WWE. The Dyad’s NXT contracts have not officially expired, but they are free agents soon enough.

Though it was recently reported that the former Dyad were already free agents, they aren’t technically free and clear just quite yet. Though they did appear to finish up with WWE, sources in the company said that the team’s contracts actually still expire in mid-October. The duo are expected to officially leave the company at that point.

Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid, also known as Zack Gibson and James Drake, requested their releases earlier this year, but WWE declined their requests. Their contracts are scheduled to officially end on October 14th. They were not among the individuals released in the recent WWE roster cuts.

We will have to see what the Grizzled Young Veterans do next. They entered into NXT with a lot of eyes on them, and an impressive resume from NXT UK. Sadly, things just didn’t pan out for them, but they are now free to seek out their next opportunities.
