WWE Superstars have a lot of attention on them when they’re in the ring. It also raises attention whenever one of them disappears for an extended period of time. Now we have an update on Bobby Roode.

Bobby Roode’s last WWE match was at a house show at the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas on June 25th 2022. Omos beat him in that singles match, and fans haven’t seen him wrestle since. He needed neck surgery, but he found a new place in WWE in the process.

Ringside News reached out to inquire about Bobby Roode’s current status. We have been able to confirm that he is a producer now, and he is no longer an active competitor.

Only time will tell if Bobby Roode finds himself in an on-screen situation, much like Adam Pearce has, as a producer for the company. After all, Bobby Roode has a ton of experience on-screen. Right now, Roode is a producer for WWE and all signs point to it staying that way.

Bobby Roode’s career in pro wrestling obviously didn’t start in WWE. He competed for different companies, and made a ton of fans along the way. While in TNA, he formed the tag team Beer Money, achieving championship success with partner James Storm. Roode also made a significant impact as a singles competitor, winning titles and bringing high-profile matches to the table.

Bobby Roode’s journey in WWE saw him excel on the NXT brand, where he became the NXT Champion and played a crucial role in elevating the brand’s reputation. Roode’s Glorious entrance theme and persona became meme-worthy, and he enjoyed every moment of that rise. His main roster call-up saw Bobby Roode eventually capture the United States Title and both the RAW and SmackDown Titles. He did a lot in his career, but it appears he found another place in the pro wrestling world.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
