WWE Fastlane 2023 took place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. That event brought sold-out house for the event, and there were a ton of surprises during the show. That didn’t change with the main event of the evening, and fans turned out to break a huge record for the city.

Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura closed out Fastlane, and it was quite a brutal contest. In the end, Rollins put Nakamura through a table and the King of Strong Style couldn’t get up by the 10 count. It was quite a show, and they made history in the process.

After WWE Fastlane, Triple H announced that the October 7th event was the highest-grossing event that the company has ever done in Indianapolis. That is quite impressive if you consider the legacy of big events that the city has hosted over the years.

In the past, Indianapolis has hosted Survivor Series, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania 7 in 1992. That being said, WWE Fastlane broke the record with 14,529 fans.

We will have to see if Indianapolis gets another WrestleMania event. Pat McAfee certainly thinks that is good idea, judging by the promo he cut during the premium live event.

Ringside News will have complete coverage. That includes any show, including WWE RAW, SmackDown, NXT and every premium live event. Also, don’t forget to hang out with us in our live results section during the events for our comprehensive play-by-play coverage.
