Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho beat Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher this week on AEW Dynamite. Fletcher was brought in as a replacement for Sammy Guevara who was said to be medically disqualified.

The babyface team didn’t have any time to celebrate, because Kenny Omega was quickly jumped. Will Hobbs got in the ring, and he laid waste to Omega. It was said on commentary that the Young Bucks had already left the building after Nick Jackson’s match against Fenix, so they couldn’t help.

As Powerhouse Hobbs continued to lay a beatdown on Kenny Omega, it was made very clear that he is the new member of the Don Callis Family. We will have to see how things progress from here.

In other news for the night, Kenny Omega dropped an “Edge” reference to Adam Copeland very soon into their first meeting on AEW television. Also, Adam Copeland says he wants to be with AEW for years to come.
