Johnny Gargano remained absent from WWE television for several months and fans wondered when he would be back. He finally returned on RAW this week but the broadcast for the show cut off just before Gargano could perform a huge spot.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Tommaso Ciampa challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Despite his best efforts, he ended up passing out and lost the match.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci started beating up Tommaso Ciampa when Johnny Gargano made his shocking return after five months and saved his friend. The closing shot for RAW was supposed to be Gargano and Ciampa hitting their double superkick on Vinci. However, WWE RAW’s broadcast cut off before they could perform the move, as the show ended with the two getting ready for their signature move instead.

WWE would upload the whole spot on social media later on, but this was certainly an unfortunate scene for those who were waiting to see their spot on Monday Night RAW. Regardless, DIY is back and fans couldn’t be happier for them.
