MJF has honed his craft as a pro wrestler over the years, as his dedication to his role is truly second to none for many fans. He is the AEW World Champion right now and is having the run of his life in AEW. That being said, MJF has confirmed he has yet to sign a contract extension with the company, as his contract will expire in just a few months.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2024. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

MJF turned his current AEW contract situation into a television storyline. The AEW World Champion has never failed to make several WWE references, including references to Nick Khan, Triple H and Vince McMahon.

While speaking to Wrestle Purists, MJF was asked what’s the next step for him in his career. MJF revealed that he has yet to sign a contract extension with AEW.

”Selfishly, it’s coming to terms with a new deal.”

[So you haven’t signed an extension?]

”Not yet, not yet.”

[So you’re telling our Wrestle Purist audience that in 2024, you’ll still be entering a bidding war poentionally?]

”Potentially, with a capital P.”

Even Cody Rhodes recently stated that MJF can be big star in WWE. MJF also told WWE talent that he is looking forward to joining the company in 2024. There is also doubt over MJF moving the needle in WWE. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether MJF will make his way to WWE next year.
