Bayley Paid Tribute to Mercedes Mone During WWE SmackDown

Bayley is undoubtedly one of the top female Superstars in all of WWE for good reason. Bayley will always give her all no matter what is required of her. She fully supports her best friend Mercedes Mone and it appears she paid tribute to Mercedes Mone during Smackdown this week.

Mercedes Mone has a lot of history with Bayley, as they began their careers in WWE together in NXT. They were both bitter rivals and the best of friends, as they also won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles together.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Bayley faced off against Charlotte Flair in a singles match. During one instance of the match, Bayley paid a subtle tribute to the former Sasha Banks by hitting her signature double stomp to the midsection of Charlotte Flair. Despite her best efforts, Bayley was unable to defeat The Queen.

Bayley also admitted that she begs Mercedes Mone to return to WWE every day. Mone also aims at rematch with Bayley in the future. We’ll have to see whether the two will ever reunite in the future.
