Jim Ross, a wrestling industry veteran renowned for his role as a commentator in WWE, has maintained a friendship with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon despite their complex history.

Ross, who contributed significantly to the wrestling industry, particularly during his tenure in WWE, had a close working relationship with Vince McMahon. However, this association was not without its challenges, and Ross often found himself at the center of controversy and ridicule.

During an episode of his ‘Grilling JR‘ podcast, Ross responded to a question about whether he still considers Vince McMahon a friend following his departure from WWE. He affirmed that Vince McMahon remains a friend in his eyes.

“Absolutely. Vince did a lot of great things for me. He was very pro-family. He and Jan [Ross’ late wife] had a good relationship. She went to the gym every day, so if you go to the gym at Titan Towers [WWE headquarters] every day you’re bound to see Vince at some point in time.”
