In a surprising turn of events, it has been revealed that WWE had initially considered Tiffany Stratton for the role of Maxxine Dupri before introducing the character as portrayed by Sydney Zmrzel, also known as Sofia Cromwell. This revelation came to light during a Twitch discussion featuring former WWE stars and members of the Maximum Male Models faction, Mace and Mansoor.

Maxxine Dupri was introduced to WWE TV in July 2022 as a replacement for LA Knight (Max Dupri) as the valet for the Maximum Male Models faction. However, the character originally had different plans, which were discussed by Mace and Mansoor during their Twitch stream.

According to the duo, Tiffany Stratton was initially set to take on the role of Maxxine Dupri. However, plans changed suddenly, and Sydney Zmrzel was chosen for the character instead.

Mansoor recalled the sequence of events, stating that LA Knight was originally not scheduled to appear on the show where Maxxine Dupri’s character was introduced. This led to the creation of the Maxxine Dupri Twitter account, which caught the attention of the Maximum Male Models. The character of Maxxine Dupri was conceived on Twitter, claiming to be Max’s sister running the Maximum Male Model website.

Mace and Mansoor, along with LA Knight, speculated that the character might involve Knight dressing in drag. However, it was later revealed that the character was portrayed by Sydney Zmrzel.

Mansoor went on to mention that Tiffany Stratton was the original choice for Maxxine Dupri and that it was almost a last-minute decision to cast Sydney Zmrzel instead. The change in plans surprised the duo, who initially believed LA Knight might be involved in the character’s portrayal.

Tiffany Stratton has been making appearances on WWE Raw and at premium live events, including Payback, where she ignited a rivalry with Becky Lynch. She recently dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch on the September 12 episode of NXT. Stratton’s increasing presence on the main roster has fueled speculation about a potential main roster call-up in the near future.
