MJF is regarded as a generational talent, and many fans certainly agree with this statement now. He has been at the very top of his game this past year and his PWI Top 500 ranking is proof of that. However, it appears MJF stated that all Shield members are not on his level.

Seth Rollins recently topped the PWI 500 list and he was followed by Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley, who ranked #2 and #3 respectively. MJF was ranked #6 on the list and it’s evident MJF wasn’t all that happy about it.

While speaking to The New York Mets, MJF was asked about the PWI Top 500 rankings. MJF made it clear that while he believes all three Shield members are talented, he claimed that they are not on the same level as him.

”PWI Top 500. El Hijo Del Vikingo. Can you name me two El Hijo Del Vikingo matches? You can’t. I could go on and on, everyone knows who the best is. If you went on social medai the day it got dropped, everybody was saying that either me or Cody Rhodes should’ve been #1 or #2. I believe they put those three guys up there, those three guys are very talented, but nobody is on the level of the Devil.”

MJF is also responsible for sizeable surge in ticket sales for AEW Grand Slam. It remains to be seen whether MJF will ever make his way to WWE, should he go there next year.
