Baron Corbin has been going consistently for WWE for years now. After starting in NXT, the Lone Wolf found a niche for himself and then made his way to the main roster. He rebuilt his character time and time again, and his End of Days finisher was there for him the whole way.

Baron Corbin has been though a lot in WWE, and he’s accomplished a ton. Although a World Title run has always alluded him, even with a Money in the Bank run under his belt, his End of Days finisher was certainly something he kept in his back pocket as a sure-fire way to win a match.

Sean Sapp noted that Fightful spoke to Baron Corbin. In a recap of the interview behind their paywall, Baron Corbin revealed that he actually voiced his displeasure when someone was booked to kick out of his devastating finisher.

Fightful asked the former WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin about his input regarding Drew McIntyre kicking out of his finisher “End of Days”

Baron told us that he had zero input in the decision and that it was something he fought for a long time. Corbin added that he had done everything the company had asked and toed the line, including being characters others would have had difficulty being. Corbin said he’s never been the World Champion, but he’s been in the World title picture by being in feuds with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Corbin would tell Fightful that he has evolved with the company for the past eight or nine years. He said that finisher was the one thing he had. Baron said Cena, Reigns, Rollins, nor Kurt Angle kicked out of his “End of Days” finisher. Corbin said when WrestleMania came, he was told that it was happening. Corbin said he voiced his displeasure with the decision. Corbin would tell Fightful Select that he was not thrilled with it and that it wasn’t his call, but they did it, and it’s over.

We will have to see what the future holds for Baron Corbin. He wakes up every day and tries his best to succeed. He also knows how to relax and unwind with some cigars, whiskey, and steaks.

Baron Corbin is in NXT, where he is currently reinventing himself. Now, fans will get to see what’s next for him, and how many opponents kick out of his End of Days finisher along the way.
