Jade Cargill’s Rumored WWE Signing Perceived as Unexpected By Some

Jade Cargill appeared on AEW Collision last week as a big surprise, and many fans didn’t expect to see her at all. The rumblings were already there that Cargill might be WWE bound, but then those rumors were kicked into overdrive after what happened next.

Kris Statlander beat Jade Cargill in her return match on Rampage, a match that has yet to air. That being said, it jump-started big rumors that Jade Cargill is coming to WWE.

Now, the belief is that Jade Cargill is on her way to WWE. That is quite a surprise for some people, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted.

“One person in WWE described this as coming out of the blue, but that they do expect her to be coming in. There are several factors involved here including money. Cargill was probably protected more in AEW than she would be in WWE, but that’s not to be sure.”

It was previously noted that there is thought that Jade Cargill is on her way to WWE. It is assumed that she wrapped up with AEW at Rampage this week. It was later reported that Cargill’s AEW contract could be running up incredibly soon. It should also be noted that Jade Cargill doesn’t need the money.

For the record, Jade Cargill gave AEW stars totally different reason why she is leaving the company. In the end, it probably has a lot more to do with WWE, but we will have to see how Vince McMahon’s company uses her.

Jade Cargill has a ton of talent, and there’s a reason why Tony Khan put so much energy behind pushing her. She made great progress during her time with AEW, but it appears Cargill is moving on, no matter how much of a surprise that might be.
