Jade Cargill showed up on Collision last week, and that was a big surprise. That was followed by a match against Kris Statlander on Rampage, and Cargill lost that TBS Title match. We apologize for the spoiler, but this story is a lot bigger than one match.

It was previously noted that there is a thought that Jade Cargill is on her way to WWE. It is assumed that she wrapped up with AEW at Rampage this week.

PW Insider reports that word going around is that Jade Cargill is on her way out of AEW. She is expected to make her way to WWE eventually, but we still don’t have any official confirmation.

In speaking with AEW sources this morning, the belief is that her current AEW deal expires as soon as this week and while there were discussions with Cargill about staying, nothing new was ever agreed to.  She is not currently slated for any other AEW appearances we are told.

In speaking with Billy Krotchsen, who sent results last night, she noted that after Cargill wrestled Kris Statlander for this Friday’ Rampage at the end of last night’s Dynamite taping in Cincinnati, the pair embraced and hugged.  Cargill was described as “teary-eyed” but then left the ring and was walked to the back by manager Mark Sterling.  The taping then concluded with a Best Friends hug in the ring.

Within AEW, there is a belief that Jade Cargill might be joining WWE for their NXT brand. It’s worth noting that Cargill had a tryout with WWE before making her way to AEW, where she was promptly established as a prominent figure with a sustained record of victories.

We will have to see what happens with Jade Cargill. There is a lot of potential there in WWE if they bring her in. Only time will tell if she ends up making a big splash in NXT or if she shoots right to the main roster.
