There is no doubt that Bryan Danielson is one of the most established names in the world of professional wrestling right now. He is also viewed as a very harmless vegan outside the squared circle and largely maintains that image as well. Now it appears Jon Moxley has been accused of holding back Bryan Danielson.

Bryan Danielson was out of action after NJPW x Forbidden Door due to injury and he ended up returning at AEW Collision, which was sooner than anyone expected. He would then have a solid match against Ricky Starks at AEW All Out, which Danielson won.

While speaking on his “Official Jim Cornette” podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Bryan Danielson always stepping up when needed. He then accused Jon Moxley of holding back Danielson.

“A strap match may be easier with a bad arm than a regular style Danielson match but he can do all of these. He’s been hidden for so long in that goofy group with that stupid bald f*cking garbage wrestler Moxley and that f*cking ridiculous whole gimmick where you saw less of Danielson than you did of everybody else and he’s the one that you wanted to see.

He’s had a couple of runs. At one point he was the best heel in the company and at one point he was the best babyface. If he’s got something to do, he can do it. Danielson has no, “I’m gonna put my foot down and not associate or be associated with the stupid booking or this crummy group” and he excels at periods of time and then gets shoved in something that he won’t say no to.”

Bryan Danielson really stepped up for Tony Khan and AEW as he took on responsibilities in the creative department. Danielson even made it clear he is ready to step up when Tony Khan needs him. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Danielson.
