‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan is most certainly one of the most beloved pro wrestlers in the history of the business. Hacksaw made a name for himself during the golden age of WWE. Jim may be retired, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have health issues. It appears Jim Duggan was recently taken to the hospital for an emergency surgery.

Jim Duggan’s health has been the cause of concern for fans and peers alike over the years, as he has been making frequent visits to the hospital for one reason or the other in the past few years.

Jim Duggan’s wife Debra Duggan took to Twitter and issued a statement about her husband’s health, revealing that the WWE Hall of Famer was hospitalized yesterday. She noted that he had emergency surgery and everything went well.

“We want to thank everyone that came out yesterday as Jim was honored by the Glens Falls Firefighters Association and apologize to those that came after 3:30.

It is not known what kind of ailment troubled Jim Duggan, but he previously beat pancreatic cancer. We offer our best to the pro wrestling legend and hope he recovers as soon as possible.
