Cathy Kelley became famous face on television following her WWE debut back in 2016. After a hiatus from WWE, she would return to the company earlier last year thanks to the company’s change in structure. It appears Kelly was crying every day before her WWE departure.

WWE has seen a huge change in the new management in charge in terms of better storylines, the return of top superstars, and significant improvement in WWE’s television product. Cathy Kelley was another name brought back to the company during this time.

While speaking on the Out Of Character with Ryan Satin podcast, Cathy Kelly talked about her WWE exit back in 2020. Kelly admitted that she was crying every day prior to her departure.

“I remember the last few months, I was crying every single day. My close friends, my family knew that and I smiled through it at work most of the time. I think there are like one or two times that I broke (she laughed), being in the locker room but yeah, it felt like the dream that I had — and whether that was promised or not at the beginning — it wasn’t gonna happen there so, I could have probably stayed and I was told at the time that I would have a job there until I’m 87 if I wanted it. So I could have coasted in that, doing a lot of the digital stuff and producing and creating content. But that ultimately wasn’t my goal so…”

Cathy Kelley also previously revealed why she came back to WWE in the first place. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for her.
