Dolph Ziggler Calls For John Cena Tag Team With R-Truth Ahead Of WWE Return

Dolph Ziggler has been a mainstay on WWE television since signing with the company in 2004. The Showoff has accomplished a lot in WWE but that doesn’t mean he is done with the company. That said, Ziggler is calling for a bizarre John Cena tag team ahead of his return to WWE.

Dolph Ziggler is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, having won the title back in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Unfortunately, he was never seen in the main event title picture after 2013, much to the dismay of fans. In recent memory, he had shorter run with the NXT Title.

As previously reported, the Leader of Cenation is set to make his return to WWE television in September during the September 1st episode of Smackdown and Superstar Spectacle on September 8 in India.

Naturally, fans are excited to see what he will do upon his return. Ahead of Cena’s WWE return, the Showoff took to Twitter and called for John Cena and R-Truth to form a tag team.

John Cena will be teaming up with Seth Rollins to square off against Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event on September 8th. His run could also end early if the SAG-AFTRA strikes conclude. We’ll have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Cena in the coming weeks.
