Drew McIntyre Offers Apology After Throwing Chair at Xavier Woods

Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. He is back on RAW as a regular Superstar but ended up hitting Xavier Woods with a chair. Now it appears he offered an apology to Woods for his actions.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, The New Day faced The Viking Raiders in a match, with McIntyre at ringside. Drew McIntyre became furious after Ivar dumped Kingston onto him, which led to McIntyre throwing a chair at Xavier Woods’ face.

WWE announced that the New Day member suffered a “cervical strain” and is considered “week-to-week.” Woods took to Twitter and stated that he would be okay and uploaded a hilarious edit of the chair getting thrown at his face. McIntyre replied to Woods with a GIF from South Park uttering the word “sorry.”

We will have to wait and see whether this angle will eventually lead to Drew McIntyre turning heel for the first time in years, as that would certainly make fans invested in him again.
