Xavier Woods recently took to social media to share that he won’t be medically cleared to wrestle in the upcoming week. Sadly, he will have to sit on the sidelines after that hard-to-watch stunt.

In response to a photo taken before his Raw match, the former WWE Tag Team Champion posted a tweet. He explained that based on doctor’s orders, he won’t be participating in the next week’s wrestling events due to sustaining whiplash from an inadvertent chair shot to the face by Drew McIntyre. The incident occurred during their match, but in the storyline, it was considered an accident, and Kofi Kingston forgave McIntyre after the contest.

Moments before I had a chair hurled into my face giving me whiplash. Doctors orders, no wrestling next week. Was pumped to be out there on my birthday but it looks like I’ll be spending it at home next Monday. See yall the week after!

For those who witnessed the moment, it was evident that McIntyre took precautions to ensure Xavier Woods’ safety, making certain that the cushioned side of the chair made contact with Woods’ face.

Hopefully, Xavier Woods will be okay. Obviously, that stunt did not end as they planned. Those desk chairs are a bit heavier than the folding steel ones they are used to dealing with.

We will keep an eye out for more updates for Xavier Woods, and the rest of the pro wrestling world, right here at Ringside News.
