Cash Wheeler was set for a big match at AEW All In London, but then an arrest threw a big wrench in plans. Now, the FTR’s participation in All In London has a big question mark above it, considering the fact that they were betting favorites to win the match.

Cash Wheeler was taken into custody by the Orlando Police Department and subsequently charged with a single count of aggravated assault with a firearm. County records indicate that he was booked in Circuit Court.

Video of Cash Wheeler’s arraignment has been released, and it is quite interesting to see. The AEW World Tag Team Champion’s attorney spoke on his behalf, as he stated that Wheeler turned himself in late last night.

”To my right is Mr. Wheeler. Daniel Wheeler. He turned himself in late last night on a warrant by the Orlando Police Department. The charge was aggravated assault with a firearm. It’s a third degree felony. We are requesting that the court set bond in the amount of 2500. With no contact with the alleged victims in the affidavit and no possession of weapons. My client is 36 years old, he’s a US citizen, has no prior record to my knowledge. He owns a home in Maitland. And so those are the reasons.”

“I haven’t seen the affidavit, but my understanding is he does not know who these people are.”

The Judge then asked if the State wanted to be heard on bond or conditions. At this time, they do not wish to do so. His bond was requested at $2,500, and he doesn’t know the victim. The State had no problem with that bond, because the fact is that this all stemmed from road rage incident.

”No, Your Honor. Mr. Wheeler appears to have no other criminal history. It does appear to be a road rage type incident. He allegedly flashed a handgun at the alleged victim. But given that he has no prior history and does not know the victim, the conditions that defense has laid out, so he has no objection to, thank you.”

This is an ongoing story, and we will have many more updates. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more.

Tony Khan might have a big decision to make about FTR. AEW already addressed the situation, and they said they will be monitoring the ongoing situation.
