WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg is a true veteran in professional wrestling, as he largely made a name for himself as part of D-Generation X in the 90s. He is also an expert at managing backstage roles in the company. Now it appears he really wants a commentary role in WWE.

After his in-ring career ended, Road Dogg worked for WWE as a producer and eventually became the head writer of SmackDown. He eventually had a behind-the-scenes role in NXT before WWE released him last year.

Road Dogg was eventually brought back last year as he took over Jeff Jarrett’s role as as Senior Vice President of Live Events in the company. While speaking on the Oh You Didn’t Know? podcast, Road Dogg revealed that he really wants to be part of WWE commentary once before retirement.

“I think I’m pretty good at talking,” Road Dogg said, noting there are things that he wished he could do in WWE. “I would love, before I get too old, to do commentary. I would love to do the [kickoff panel for WWE Premium Live Events].”

With WWE thriving at every single moment now, Road Dogg is more than happy working in Vince McMahon’s company now and for him, that is truly all that matters. We’ll have to see if he will get his desire in the end.
