Road Dogg is back in WWE once again, and this news has reverberated deeply in the pro-wrestling world. While he is already WWE Hall of Famer, his years of experience give him a real edge over others. It was unclear before what his executive role in the company would be.

The WWE Hall of Famer is taking over the position of Senior Vice President of Live Events. This was the position that was in the hands of Jeff Jarrett. However, his exit from the company left the position empty since, and Road Dogg was brought in to take over.

Road Dogg Jesse James will assume the position Jeff Jarrett held as Senior Vice President of Live Events.

WrestleVotes reported the news. Dave Meltzer has alluded to the return of another key figure from the world of NXT. While it’s unclear who will be returning, Ryan Katz is a safe bet given how he held tremendous power in NXT back in the day as the NXT Associate Producer.

Road Dogg back with WWE. Another former key NXT person may be back as well.

Jeff Jarrett and Road Dogg have also remained close throughout the years. Triple H has been close to the Hall of Famer as well, to the point that he was part of his inner circle. This is one of the major changes that are now taking place under Triple H’s regime.
