AEW is usually filled with controversy, as fans take part in tribalism on a regular basis. This time around, Lufisto took a brunt of the backlash, and she deactivated her Twitter in the process.

Britt Baker fired back at one fan who carried on with Lufisto’s story. The former AEW Women’s Champion said, “And why is that? Because what you read on twitter must be true? I love AEW and I love our women’s locker room.”

One brave fan replied to Britt Baker to say, “And Thunder Rosa? Are the claims that you wanted to shoot on her true? Is LuFisto lying about that? Is what she said true or false?” These are questions a lot of fans are asking about right now.

Britt Baker didn’t let that tweet sit for very long before clearing things up. The dentist said that the report about the meeting Lufisto spoke about is false.

False. Thunder called the meeting to discuss multiple/personal issues. There was no meeting to “shoot on” her – these are salacious Twitter rumors. I’m sure when she’s ready she can help clarify.

In case you need a refresher, Lufisto dropped another bombshell string of posts on X to say that Tony Khan has some people thinking that he is returning AEW to the Divas Era. That received quite lot of attention, especially since Lufisto also said that Tony Khan sent any woman home who expressed concern about the division’s direction.

Britt Baker is not going to let anyone carry on with this narrative without clearing things up. MJF also jumped in to bury Lufisto and fire back about what she said in the process.
