Sami Zayn is not booked for a match at SummerSlam, because his tag team partner, Kevin Owens, is out of action with an injury. That being said, Zayn still had tons of fans in Detroit for the biggest party of the summer.

Sami Zayn sent out a post on X to thank his fans who showed up at his meet & greet today. The line was ridiculously long, and he was happy to meet all 850 people who attended his event today.

To the 850 people who showed up today, THANK YOU. I love the fans. I love meeting them. I love talking to longtime fans & kids who just started watching. I love being in a position where I can help brighten their day. It’s an honor and a privilege to work for you.

Sami Zayn is beloved all over the world, and his hard work for decades has certainly paid off. Only time will tell what’s next for Sami Zayn, but he still has a ton of fans cheering him on.

This has been a big year for Sami Zayn. He won the tag team titles with Kevin Owens in the main event of WrestleMania 39’s first night. He then went on to perform in Saudi Arabia for the first time during this partnership with WWE, raking in another huge win in the process.

Sami Zayn is still a huge draw in WWE, and there’s no questioning that. If anything, those 850 fans might be even more proof that WWE needs to keep booking the Underdog from the Underground at the top of the roster.
