WWE has a lot of things going on as they approach SummerSlam, but they also wanted to get some things booked for next week’s show. So far, they have two matches announced, and they could both steal the show.

WWE will celebrate 25 years of Edge in Toronto in two weeks, but next week is already shaping up to be a big show. With only two matches booked, they are certainly leaving the door open for a lot more possibilities.

AJ Styles will take on Karrion Kross next week on SmackDown. That episode will also include a lot of SummerSlam fallout, but those two will also bring a lot to the show.

Also, the United States Title is finally going to be defended. Austin Theory will defend the US Title against Santos Escobar next week in Calgary. That match is the result of Escobar winning the US Title tournament.

We will have to see what WWE books for SmackDown between now and then. It seems that they have some fun plans for next week’s show.
