Candice Michelle is a former WWE Women’s Champion and was one of the mainstays of the women’s division during the mid-2000s. She was a beloved star during her time in the company, and there is a good reason for that. Now it appears she defended Vince McMahon over a highly controversial backstage segment in WWE.

Candice Michelle was largely involved in numerous feuds over the years during her time in the company, competing against the likes of Victoria, Melina, and Mickie James to name just a few WWE Superstars.

During an infamous backstage segment, Candice Michelle met up with Vince McMahon in order to cure her chest cold as part of a bizarre storyline. McMahon then grabbed Michelle’s chest and she was immediately healed.

This segment reived a lot of flack for good reason. While speaking with Steve Fall’s Ten Count, Candice Michelle was asked how Vince McMahon pitched her that idea for the segment. Michelle defended the Executive Chairman of WWE and stated that they were simply portraying their characters and nothing more.

“I don’t think that stuff is really pitched, it’s just like you are going to have a segment with Vince McMahon and here is what you should say. This kind of is not like grabbing my breasts, it’s like more of pitch like you’re an actress in a scene of you know, like you go in as a character and you come out of that character.”

Candice Michelle was advertised for RAW Legends Night back in January 2021, but she claims the company falsely promoted her. Despite feeling a disconnection from her fans, Michelle is preparing for the next stage of her career and hopes to return to the limelight next year.
