Santos Escobar won the first fatal four-way match a couple of weeks ago, and that solidified his spot in the final match. Then, last week, Rey Mysterio won his own fatal four-way match, which cemented a very interesting finals for SmackDown.

Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar started off their match with a handshake, and then they got down to business. The two wrestled for a bit, but then Santos hit a suicide dive on the outside. Rey Mysteiro hit his head on the outside, and then they called off the match.

Now, Austin Theory will defend his United States Title against Santos Escobar in two weeks on SmackDown. This is quite a spot for Escobar, as it gives him a great opportunity to win a title after the biggest party of the summer.
