Cody Rhodes left AEW and we went to WWE. Since then, he was able to appear in AEW Fight Forever and WWE 2k23, an epic accomplishment. There is even more clout for the American Nightmare now.

In February 2022, Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi decided to part ways with AEW due to not reaching an agreement on a new contract. However, just a few months later, the American Nightmare made a momentous and iconic return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. In an unforgettable match, he secured a victory against Seth Rollins in front of a grand audience at the spectacular event.

AEW picks a new thumbnail for Dynamite each week on platforms like YouTube TV. This week’s episode had a very interesting thumbnail for the show, Cody Rhodes.

Despite the fact that Cody Rhodes wasn’t seen on AEW Dynamite this week, nor was he even mentioned, someone still decided that Cody Rhodes needed to be the thumbnail for this week’s episode.

We will have to see if AEW has someone change this thumbnail. It is very possible that this mistake had nothing to do with AEW, and the decision fell on the platform instead. Only time will tell if they correct this, or release a statement.
