AEW has a few strong champions on their roster, but Jon Moxley doesn’t hold a title at this point. Things could change in a big way for the former Lunatic Fringe very soon, because he just might have inserted himself in a different title picture this week.

Orange Cassidy defended his International Title against AR Fox in a banger of a match to kick off AEW Dynamite this week. After Freshly Squeezed won, Jon Moxley jumped in the ring and laid out Cassidy even after Fox turned on him.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke down AEW’s possible plan for Orange Cassidy’s title. After Jon Moxley attacked him this week, it is pretty apparent that Mox will get a shot at Cassidy’s title soon enough.

Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley are going to have a match. We know that, for the International Title. I think that Moxley is going to win the title, because Orange has held it for so long.

It was noted that Jon Moxley is in a triple threat match with Trent Beretta and Penta next week on AEW Dynamite. That might set him up for bigger things, possibly a title match against Orange Cassidy. Only time will tell when AEW books that match.

Jon Moxley is a former AEW World Champion, but he could certainly hold the International Title as well. If the former Dean Ambrose is able to beat Orange Cassidy for his title, then it would certainly be one incredible way for Freshly squeezed to drop his title.
