WWE saw a couple big injuries on their main roster in recent memory. Kevin Owens suffered an injury, and that played out on RAW this week. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan did an injury angle on RAW this week as well, and she will be out of action for a while thanks to a shoulder injury. It seems that WWE’s plan for SummerSlam is still very much intact.

Kevin Owens has actually been working with an injury for quite some time. That brought on an injury angle this week on RAW. It is unknown how long Owens will be out of commission, but it is thought that he has a rib injury.

Liv Morgan is thought to have injured the other shoulder from the one they focused on during her attack angle on RAW. That being said, she is expected to be out of action for a much longer period of time, because her injury sell was quite heart-wrenching.

Ringside News reached out to inquire about WWE’s booking plan for SummerSlam in light of those recent injuries. After all, Liv Morgan and Kevin Owens are big pieces for WWE’s creative puzzle.

We were told by a tenured member of the WWE creative team that Kevin Owens and Liv Morgan’s injuries will not change the company’s booking plan for the biggest party of the summer.

We will have to see how long Kevin Owens and Liv Morgan are out of action. Hopefully, they will be able to heal up fast and get back to work. In the meantime, it also appears that WWE was able to book SummerSlam in a way where their absences won’t hut their August 5th card at Detroit’s Ford Field.
