Stephen Amell made a name for himself by portraying the role of the Green Arrow in CW’s hit show Arrow. He is also huge fan of professional wrestling and has even competed in pro wrestling matches in WWE and also at All In few years ago. In fact, it appears he really wants to wrestle again.
Prior to All In, Stephen Amell worked SummerSlam 2015, where he notably faced off against Cody Rhodes when he was known as Stardust. Stephen Amell and Cody Rhodes share a solid friendship as well.
He even competed in a match at Ring Of Honor a few years ago. While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, Stephen Amell made it clear that he really wants to compete inside the squared circle again.
It’s weird. I kinda did this thing in reverse where I had three professional wrestling matches, before I really trained on how to be a professional wrestler. I’m getting that itch to get back into the ring again. And then, of course, Bad Bunny and Logan Paul took the whole celebrity appearance to the nth degree. I’m super competitive. I’ve got to come back.
The second season of ‘Heels’ will be airing on July 28th. We’ll have to wait and see how the second season will turn out and whether Stephen Amell will compete inside the squared circle again.
