WWE has their eye on the entire pro wrestling world, and they are aware who is under contract. Just because someone is available, and the company might want to use them, doesn’t mean that their debut with WWE always works out.

Nick Aldis exited Impact Wrestling, and now he is a free agent. At this point, he is weighing his options between WWE and AEW as well. It turns out that WWE wanted to bring him in already.

BWE noted behind their private Twitter account that WWE almost brought Nick Aldis in for the Royal Rumble event this year. That didn’t happen, but his entrance into the company could still be coming in time.

He was close to be debuting at RR. Guess this time it will happen surely

Only time will tell what happens next in this situation. Obviously, WWE can do a lot with someone like Nick Aldis. They did not bring him in last time, but now, it appears that the opportunity has presented itself once again.

There was also a report that WWE might want to use Nick Aldis as a producer backstage. He could certainly fit into that role, if given the chance. Then again, Aldis still has plenty that he can off in the ring as well.

Nick Aldis might have some options right now, so he’s in a very good place. Hopefully, whichever direction he picks will see him continue a fruitful and happy career.
