John Cena is undoubtedly one of the biggest professional wrestlers in the history of the business. After all, hardly anyone is as recognizable as The Leader Of Cenation when it comes to both pro wrestling as well as Hollywood. Cena is also one of the kindest human beings in the world, as he has already made many Make-A-Wish dreams come true. In fact, it appears that even Cody Rhodes is in awe of what John Cena has done in terms of granting Make-A-Wish wishes.

Last year, Guinness World Records reported that Cena set a new world record for the most wishes granted through the non-profit organization, granting 650 wishes – the most in Make-A-Wish’s 42-year existence.

Obviously, John Cena has granted even more wishes since then and continues to make their dreams come true. That being said, John Cena never did this for the limelight or praise.

While speaking on ESPN Radio, Cody Rhodes talked about John Cena’s Make-A-Wish contributions and stated that The Leader of Cenation surpassing even Michael Jordan in granting Make-A-Wish wishes is simply surreal.

“What WWE does with Make-A-Wish and the efforts that are made in terms of not just a specific superstar meeting a young kid, it’s the whole group. WWE pretty much involves everyone. It’s kind of this whole gauntlet of you meet this guy, you meet this guy, you do this, you do that, and then you get to meet your superstar. I am honored to be part of that. What John (Cena) has done in terms of number of wishes, surpassing even Michael Jordan, is absolutely surreal. To even be in the same air and the same conversation is really special because it’s not, you know, we list all those titles and all that wonderful stuff. You guys know the real stuff is something like what John has done in terms of Make-A-Wish and having a lasting impact and being able to do something special. So it’s just an honor to be part of that group.”

Even Vince McMahon had to convince John Cena to make his Make-A-Wish visits public. John Cena is currently busy with his life in Hollywood, as he will be starring in Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated film ‘Barbie,’ where he will be portraying the role of mermaid. It remains to be seen when John Cena will return to WWE television once again, as he recently appeared at the WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event.
