Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE RAW, and he went after Cody Rhodes. There was some thought that he might be back sooner, but that was never supposed to happen.

There is a report going around that WWE planned to have Brock Lesnar return at Money in the Bank, but those plans changed. It turns out that was not the case at any point at all.

Ringside News reached out to ask about those plans for Brock Lesnar. We were told that Brock Lesnar’s return date was always Baltimore’s RAW.

A tenured member of the WWE creative team also told us that Brock Lesnar was “never scheduled for Money in the Bank.” It was also stressed to us that, “anyone who reports that is making up news or getting news from a source that has no credibility or true inside knowledge.”

Brock Lesnar will likely be around more often as WWE heads toward SummerSlam. Cody Rhodes and Lesnar are set to throw down in a gimmick match at the biggest party of the summer.
