WWE fans are not shy about sharing their opinions about the Superstars they see in the ring. That being said, Dana Brooke has certainly been through a bit of a journey since she joined the company, and it wasn’t the easiest time, either.

Dana Brooke has made a comeback to the NXT brand, which led her to a match against Cora Jade on NXT during their Gold Rush special. That being said, fans’ responses to Brooke’s return to NXT have predominantly been negative, both at the live events and online. She has since fired back at those fans who think she sucks.

Mickie James, who is a co-host on Busted Open Radio, expressed her belief that the company is not utilizing Dana Brooke’s skills effectively in her current position on the show. She also made the claim that Brooke was moved out of NXT the first time because fans didn’t respect her.

“I felt like Dana Brooke was the wrong choice to send to NXT in the first place. It’s one thing when you send a Seth Rollins or you send [Natalya] back, because they have the respect and they’re workhorses, you know what I mean? Dana was taught [the] WWE style system, and now there’s this whole new generation of that same kind of system, but more elaborate.”

“That audience never really truly respected Dana when she was down there before, and then that’s one of the reasons why they moved her up to the main roster. I love Dana. I’ve worked with Dana. I think she’s a fabulous person. I think she really has tried really, really hard, in the last couple of years especially, to be more respected for her in-ring work and for her ability.”

Dana Brooke and Cora Jade’s match at Gold Rush wasn’t received too well with fans. It seems that WWE fans are going to need a lot more convincing before they change their minds about Dana Brooke.
